truck manifold turbo kit

4l80e
8.8 rearend

looking for some solid 10 sec passes, then turn up the boost and see what she does

Does Anyone know if a s475 83mm t6. 1.10 a.r be enough Turbo to push my set up passed 600rwhp or is the 74mm comp to small or should I just save up for a s476...

from everything i've read on here, that turbo should be plenty for 600rwhp. i am working on a similar setup (5.3, vicjr, 4150 tb, s475 but with 1.32 and e85). be interested to see your reults. good luck!

Got some more parts today ! Meth kit, ls6 cam, pushrods, springs, and picked the 4l80e with stock stall for 400.00

While I sold my ls6 cam and springs. Got a deal on a custom cam and buying some 660 lift springs

Really cool build should be fun car to drive

Got the cam in today and valve springs bolted everything up engine and 4l80e going in the car monday.

Where did you score the 4l80e from? Ive searched a few areas here in so cal and havent came across one yet.

I really want to ditch the pump gas and meth kit for some e85 will 60lb injectors max out before 600rwhp on e85? If so will I need a fuel pressure regulator for 80lb injectors... Im running a vette fuel regulator right now.

29.5 tires, 3.50 gears, TH350, shitty TCI streetfighter converter went 10.30's @131 in a 3660lbs car. 15psi boost on 93 octane. Wish I would have played with E85 back then... would have been in the 9's easy.

Wow nice. Yea ill be just running a fmic with e85 no meth. Ill be running the new 275 60 15 et m/t pros and a 3400 stall and transbrake. You think maybe I can sneek a 9 sec pass then on 18-20 psi lol should weigh around 3200-3400

I was blowing through my converter quite a bit. It was my first setup and a whole new learning experience. The power you will make will get you well into the 9's... Your converter, trans, and rest of the car setup right... no prob.

It fits good way more space. Just had to notch the 4l80e crossember a bit.

well this is what I had to work with, when I used the "swap" crossmember and solid motor mounts.. Needless to say I had to make my own HAHA

Dam and I thought mine was bad lol what happen there? I had to use a stock lt1 trany mount and pull the trans a lil down to line up.

Does the BOV placement look ok?

Mounted the catch can, ran a line from both valve covers.

Picked up a tunnel mounted adj. torque arm.. im going to reinforce the tubes on the torque arm also.

The best place for the bov is right before the throttle body.

Relocated the battery to the rear and the coolant over flow tank.. can keep it hidden also.. AND YES, i will be using another battery lol..

How much power are you looking to make?

At least a lil over 600rwhp on 18psi

Will a fuel pressure regulater from 30-65psi would I be ok with the most pressure I can do is 65psi or do I need a 70-75psi one? I have 80lb injectors and twin in tank pumps

Yes. My 5.3 made 587rwhp at 12.8lbs with a little mpt70 so you will make your 600 no problem.

Cant wait to see what it makes. We have pretty similar builds except i have a 76mm .96ar
Mines on E85 as well right now its tuned at 15psi and 16 deg. never been on a dyno or track yet. I am hoping for the same results as you.

Not much I will be tuning it next week and will be taking it to the track April 20th ill post the dyno #s as soon as its done

while i took the car to get tune a few days ago but didnt get finished on the first pull on boost it blew a heater hose and the charge pipe. it was getting way to hot also. Ran out of time since we tuned other cars and had to leave. Posted up a vid this is with no timing and super rich. Will be going back in a week
