New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - New LS1 owner question....

First off, I had a 3.8 I traded in on my 02 SS...WOW, what a difference!! I got to looking around when I got home with the SS & it has a Borla cat back. No wonder it sounds so good. My only problem is, I have read that those are adjustable. How would I go about checking to see what "plate" I have in? I did not get the plates with the car, but really the only thing I know is that there are plates, but have no clue really what that means. Yes, I know I have lots to learn. Thanks.

Never had a borla but I believe its like a cutout type thing. Just look under the car I believe my friends bolts onto a fitting.

If I'm not mistaken, the plates are to adjust sound level (3 diff. size openings:headbang:).
Whichever one is in there, just take it out for less restriction :burn:

The plate is infront of the right side exhaust tip follwo it forward and you should see three bolts holding the pipes toghter the plate is in between their
