Forced Induction - Magnuson supercharger not fitting engine

Ned some serious hjelp .,
We just baught a Magnuson supercharger for the ls1 2002 mod from transam to the Passat V8 car.
Problem is :
The drivebelt will not fit the supercharger . Why ., its sopouse to be bolt on on any ls1 ...
Its a half a inche to far against the engine with the pullys.

what accessories are you running? sounds like you have the corvette charger, and fbody accessories...

You need to charger for the GTO. Can you not take it back and return it for the right one? That would be waaay simpler.

We can not return it, it was purchased used in private. we bought it for $ 3400 and new costs twice that. this has only been on the engine has been tuned in the bench.
Then it is cheaper for us to buy corvette complete system for $ 1,000 ..
we need none of ac stuff.

I bet you could have a machine shop turn a new jackshaft cheaper than buying all new accessories. Should be a lot less work too.
wow! Car looks awesome now that it's completed.
I have an '01 Audi A4 Avant myself and have been collecting some parts myself.
Deciding whether to keep it AWD or convert it to RWD. I'd like to keep it a winter ski car in the end :chug:
