After owning my car for over 6 years I finally got around to getting her on the dyno. I went over to EFI Logics in Bethel CT and pulled 344/355. I'm pretty happy with the numbers. I'm using this as a baseline for the mods in my sig (except with a catted y-pipe). I picked up an LS6 intake manifold over the weekend and now it's time to get some recommendations for a cam that's not too aggressive and an intake for my new ws6 hood. Would really love to hit 400 rwhp.

Here's my dyno sheet:

Not bad #'s at all, and mustang dyno's are heartbreakers.

Blocked at work, cant see.

Power #'s depend much on driveline, average cam only (bolt ons) cars seem to be the mid/high 300's. You do see some that peak just at 400-405, or go past that mark in the 420 range but seems to be rare. I dont own a dyno so my sample is smaller, and I am sure sponsors will have better input.

I would say shoot for a cam that compliments where you drive the car the most. I have one that works great from idle and mid range. Pulls good up top but its not a screamer like a MS4/T rex. From idle to 4k-5k is fine in majority of situations.

i am guessing your car is a auto?
as for cams, I have seen heard and driven almost all of them over the years, i think a good mild street car cam is a 224/228 cam...I personally like a rougher bigger cam and have had a few of them in the past but im currently running the 224/228 and am happy with it.

The car is a manual. Thanks for the suggestions.
