Paint & Body Work - Olive Drab C6 Corvette

I bought a black C6 and live on a dirt road. Dumb move on my part. My "fix" was to wrap it in 3M olive drab. Now I just need a pin-up girl on the sides behind the front wheels. A photograper buddy is going to do a photo shoot with another friend of ours dressed up as a 40's pin-up girl in the next couple weeks.

Doesnt look too bad. The mirrors would look sick wraped in carbon fiber.

I was thinking that, lol. Also tinting my sidemarkers, foglights, headlights, and tails.

Wrap the mirrors in cf, and black everything else out and it will look mean.

I think it looks good,the black looks better, you should have went with a matte white,lol i love white so my opinion is for white,doesnt look bad though,i think some cf accents would set it off

$800, but he hooked me up since I have had work done by him before. Normally starts at $995 depending on material cost. Some places charge $2000 or more. Just depends. You need to find an installer that wont razor blade your paint job all to hell though.

yup, seen it several times in person except it has a carbon fiber roof and trunk and hood wrap.

I didn't do it myself. Look for shops that do vehicle graphics. Should only cost a $100-$200 to get the roof and halo done.

Right on. I just got done doing a 300 mile loop up through Prescott, Jerome, and Sedona. I couldn't find a car wash before, so it was still covered in bugs. :jest:

It's different. I think it looks good. It might have been cool to de-badge the Corvette emblems and maybe add a few subtle military type decals or a small American flag on the front fenders.

That looks SOOO sick... It would look awesome if you did flat black american flags on the doors, added a serial to the top of the quarter, stuff like that.

Wrapped the mirrors olive drab also. Looks way better than the black mirrors to me.

do some "blackbird" style stripes on the sides of the cowl in black, would look pretty bad ass nd accentuate it nicely.
