What is it Worth? - 2000 Trans Am A4

I'm going to be selling my TA, :(

It needs some work and with the family here, I just don't have the time or the money.

129,000 miles
front bumper needs paint
17" ws6 rims
quater panel has big paint scrape(no dent)
slp cat-back
slp cold-air

Gonna need tires and brakes.

What do you think it's worth ?

Or do you think I'm better off parting it out ?

have the same car pretty much sitting in my driveway for sale, 2000 auto trans am navy blue black leather, body is decent except for a few tiny rust bubbles under the paint along the driver quarter panel, but runs and drives perfect.

i have it listed for 6000 on craigslist, not expecting to get that though, would be willing to take 5 or so

I wouldn't part it out. I'm sure someone that can work on the brakes and maybe handle some paint work would love the car for about $4,000 if it is running OK. All the buyer would need is a set of tires. I'm not sure you could get $4,000 by parting it out, and if you could, it would be one heck of a time consuming effort. Are you looking for another car? If you are, why not trade it in? A trade-in might net you that same $4,000. It is difficult to gauge your T/A's true value if there are other issues than what you described. If the car isn't running well or the SES light is on, etc.. then the value could be way less.

It runs great and and shifts great too. Really just needs some minor body work and some tires and brakes.
