Generation III External Engine - LS6 Coolant crossover tube

I have read many old threads on the subject. The LS6 came factory with rear block offs.....

Why are people saying thats bad? Have people experienced cooling problems?

some peeps have problems with cylinder 7 overheating......so rear coolant flow seems like a no brainer
