Default New Heads, drive before tune?

Quite a simple question:

I'm having my heads redone at AI. Is the car safe to drive for leisure until I get the tune? Or should I just not drive it until I am ready to head over to the tuner?

Thanks

Car is a cammed 2002 Z28 and has been dyno tuned when it was a cam only car.

If you are running the same injector as before you should be fine.

i would think that if you kept the rpms level down that the 02 sensor and comptuer would be able to correct a lot of leaned out conditions but as soon as you started getting the rpms way up there you may run out of injector.

Yup if you baby it you can drive it....I'd like to have a wideband gauge in there to look at just to be sure...that way you can keep an eye on your a/ f ratio and see if it starts to go lean
