I measured the amps a long time ago and got ~3.35A on low speed and ~9.1A on high speed. Not sure about start-up amps.

It has but I can't remember the site. See if you can google the truck forums since running dual lt1/ls1/ impala fans are very popular for them. I remember seeing a post and vid. the amps where small but I think when they first started they spiked pretty high over 20 amps for a sPlit second. I run lt1 fans on my silveraldo with 30amp relays on each . So far so good. About a year.

Keep us posted how you went about doing it and if it works fine. Have been wanting to do the same thing for quite some time but do not feel like running wires and a switch for it. Would be much easier to tap into main cooling fans.

I'm interested in the cfm the stockers pulls.

Why are u switching fans ? I want to switch my dual lt1 for a single fan on 3.4 Camaro. Just for the weight savings . Allready have the 3.4 fan .
