I was in the lot at the chevy dealership, when i went to start my car something shorted out to the point where my whole ground cable from the battery back melted all the insulation off the cable...so I had them order me a new one and told them to call me before they started any work so i can double check on here first....Sooo how long should it take for a mechanic to swap out the ground wires? any idea?

I couldn't see it taking over 1 hour, if it's just the ground cable.
