245-50zr-16 z28 tires My 1998 Z28 is in bad need of new rubber. The selection of 16" tires has gone down A LOT. This car is not driven in poor weather but I want a tire that lasts too but I don't want to spend a ton of money either. What are you all running out there? I miss the old GOODYEAR GATORBACKS and BFG COMP TAs!

Try BFG g-Force Sports of BFG g-Force Sport Comp-2s. Both have a treadwear rating of 300+. I just don't remember for sure.
Those are the ones I'm looking at getting if I don't end up buying 17s soon.
But if you're really worring about having them last then go with All Seasons.
