Default 245-50zr-16 z28 tires

My 1998 Z28 is in bad need of new rubber. The selection of 16" tires has gone down A LOT. This car is not driven in poor weather but I want a tire that lasts too but I don't want to spend a ton of money either. What are you all running out there? I miss the old GOODYEAR GATORBACKS and BFG COMP TAs!

Try BFG g-Force Sports of BFG g-Force Sport Comp-2s. Both have a treadwear rating of 300+. I just don't remember for sure.

Those are the ones I'm looking at getting if I don't end up buying 17s soon.

But if you're really worring about having them last then go with All Seasons.

Go to firestone and pick up some prime well pz600's. They have been good to me, I like the pattern and they seem to get good traction

Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500, it's a good tire!

I just put Falken Ziex 512s on my car, 'bout $100 each.
