I have an SS camaro with 165k miles on it. The car looks fantastic especially for the mileage but It has a leaking head gasket. Since I have an Iron 6.0L half way built, I plan to throw that in the car. My question is....The stock t56 works fine with no issues but while I have everything out...any recommendations on preventative future things to go wrong? Do I have new synchros put in it ect... Just looking for thoughts on a high mileage tranny.
