RUINED

i want to remove permanently the steering wheel air bag from my 02 full size gmc........if i replace the airbag fuze with the proper resistor it should trick the pcm into thinking the bag is there???? therefore shuting off or preventing the air bag light from showing??

will i screw things up by doing this?????

I do not think you stick the resistor where the fuse was, but at the connector that plugs into the airbag.
