Stereo & Electronics - Will this speaker work?

My sail panels are going out (sounds monotonous huh?). Anyways, I have some speakers I bought for a 94 Firebird I used to have. When I got rid of the car I pulled my speakers because they'd only been in ther about a month. They are Infinity 6012i speakers. They are considered "reference" speakers, full range. I know that's not the typical for sail panels with the monsoon system, but I'm sure they'll be better than the blown stockers right? Only thing is they say 6 1/4" but the sails are 6 1/2" right? These speakers were in the sail panels of the firebird.

If you are still using the Monsoon system (rather than an aftermarket amp) then no, those speakers won't work. The Monsoon amp sends only low frequency signal for subs to the sail panels. Those full-range speakers will sound terrible there because they aren't designed for bass-only signal.
