first time at track with 04 GTO
Went to new england dragway last night to run my goat. Bought the car stock and added kooks lt's, catless mids, slp loudmouth, SvedeSpeed OTRCAI, BMR drag bags (12 psi) and a full tune by slowhawk. Car put 336hp/346tq to wheels on a mustang dyno. Car is a 6 speed. Ran on street tires.
First run right off the highway was a 13.661 at 107.13 with a 2.313 60 foot time. Car wheel hopped bad, finally hooked, spun 1/4-1/2 of second then took off. Reaction time was .549
Rest of the night was bad, track was wet and even with a good burnout I couldnt hook at all. One pass i spun all of first, all of second, half of third and ran a 17.227.
I was hoping for a high 12's low 13 pass, disapointing night.
Need to get some drag radials.
Looking at the first numbers does high 12's seem possible?

Tires and back to the track. You get a 1.9 60' and you'll be where you want. Just don't break anything lol.
Also, don't worry about the RT at all. When your first starting to go to the track it's better to focus on getting your launch down. Your reaction doesn't have anything to do with ET, timers don't start until you roll over the beam. **** I still don't care about RT and I've been going for a while now, I just want a good ET and mph.
So get some good tires, slip the clutch a bit out of the hole and see what she does.
