Cadillac CTS-V - Waiting on an engine harness for 2 months!?!?!?!?!

Well,

Got into a slight front end accident (Just needed a front bumper, headlight, and fender). Nothing was bent, frame is okay. Slight accident at 20-25mph. Anyways, becuase GM designed this with such planning they located the ECU right by the front bumper. Now the ECU ripped away from the engine harness, and insurance is ordering a new harness. It's been 2 months, and one place says it's produced by order only, another place says unreleased backorder.

Anyone come accross this issue before? Or know what to do. It's jsut getting frustrating :(

Have you tried to call Luke @ Lindsay ? If anyone can get a hold of something for our Caddy it's Luke.

I haven't I'll try to give him a ring tomorrow.

It seems like I was able to find a few when I was looking a few months ago...but I feel your pain....I had a minor front end impact, got everything fixed and taken care of....than driving through a parking lot....I have a bump from the front end and the car dies...I get out and look...the little plate under the ECU was damaged and fell out...so I looked behind my tire..and the ecu was just chilling there completely torn out....I ran over the damn thing

My insurance ended up sending off the whole harness to be fixed, and I got it back in about 45 days fixed....it took forever it seems

definitely check with Luke at Lindsey Cadillac, I'd say that is your best chance
