After putting the new wheels on the car I noticed that the driver side was sitting higher than the passenger. I got out the tape and found it is almost an inch higher. So do I just spin that side down an inch?

Check and adjust your tire pressure. Adjust the spring heights with both front and rear sway bars disconnected. Be sure there are no binds in the control arms. Set ride height with spring seat adjustments on the shock body and when you have it set re-install your sway bar links.

If you are doing the work with the car jacked up you will need to roll the car back and forth 10 feet or so to let the tires/suspension settle every time you let it back down on the ground.

you would need to adjust it down 1/2" to 5/8" up front.
