Walbro 255 in 98 trans am I've been searching to see if there were any how to's on a 98 walbro intank replacement. I've done the swap in my 99 and ive read that the 98 is a little further back in the car, but i wanted to know how the swap differed in the factory bucket. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

The 98 is not the same as the 99-2000. The 98 does not have the bucket.
The pump replacement is not any different. Remove the sender from the tank and replace the pump.
The vendors who support these forums offer the correct direct replacement pumps for your application.
