Stereo & Electronics - Can I used these in place of my stock Hatch speakers?

I bought these speakers by accident.....

the are 4" 2 way coaxial's

Can i put them in place of my hatch speakers?

I know the hatch are component speakers so i dont know if they will work.,


if they will.....how do i wire them and will they sound better than my stocks?

Yes, you can use them. The factory 4" speaker gets full-range signal from the amp so you can connect those in place of the factory speaker. You will probably want to disconnect the factory tweeter to prevent overwhelming treble from that area.

BTW, the nickname for Pyle equipment is "Pyle of s**t". I hope you got them cheap.

LOL....yeah i figured they were a POS speaker.......but you think they will sound better than the stock speakers in the hatch? if not then i wont bother.

and yeah I got them cheap....$5.00 at a yard sale

Better? I don't know. If your stock speakers are damaged then yes they will certainly sound better. Bear in mind that the hatch speakers are intended only for rear fill and should not be distinctly heard from the driver's seat. They provide ambiance only, so they don't have to be particularly good or powerful speakers.
