Default Hooker LT's install issue

I've installed and taken out plenty of headers, but I thought I'd go the cheaper route this time and it seems that was a bad decision. I got the Hooker painted headers, passager slid right in and so did the drivers, the problem came up when I went to put the steering knuckle back on, NOT EVEN CLOSE, the 1st primary was completely in the way.

What can I do, take it to the shop and make an elbow for it?

DO you think notching it would work or is this just way out there?
