LT1-LT4 Modifications - bad opti spark?

sometimes my car starts right away and sometimes it takes like 3 seconds to start i replaced the feul pump relay switch, and the ignition coil to i got underneath my car and the wires look new not sure if the plugs are good cuz i havent pulled one out yet the car doesnt loose power at any power level or wen i rev it it doesnt back fire and the motor is smooth running it has 69000 miles on the motor wen its hot its starts up right away but wen cold it takes its time please help

Check valve in the fuel pump maybe bad. Next time its cold try cycling the key to on for 3 or 4 sec then off then back on a couple times before starting. This will prime the fuel system and build up the necessary pressure. If it fires right up than that's your problem. You can either just deal with it or replace the pump.
