That's a sweet sound, what intake is that? Man, I am wanting to spin a lil ol 4.8 to 7800 or so, that is just music.
DMMizell

The intake is a PI(Performance Induction unit)
Mast Motorsports bought them, they still sell the intake.
Available for LS7 and L92 ports with either a 4150 or 4500 flange.
Thanks for the kind words guys..

The breather on the drivers side is the vent tank for the vac pump,
the other vertical tank on the manifold is the oil seperator for vac pump intake.

ran a 5.80 at 120.4mph with a 1.2760ft.
Qualified #5, had a 1st round match with the #6 qualifier.
#6 Qualifier was a Fox Mustang, 427SBF on nitrous at 3150lbs he ran 5.84 qualifier.
But,....It rained before we could run.
The car stumbles upon touchdown, need to work on that..should pick up a bit.

I see a serpentine pulley on your alternator, do you run a 4 rib, or 6 rib belt to drive it? I have not been able to find a 6 rib that is aprox 32.5" long?
Lastly does that serpentine belt stay on at 9500rpm?????!!!!!! I cant seem to make a v belt stay on mine a 7800......
DMMizell

It is a 4 rib belt on 6 rib pulleys,no problems.
The crank pulley is small, the alternator is turning approx 1.5 times engine speed.
Thanks,
Dave
