Wheels & Tires - 26" or 28" Tall Mickey Thompson on Cammed Stalled and 3.73 Gear

I am wanting to know if I should go with the mickey thompson 26 or 28 inch tall drag radial for optimum track times and hooking (track and street). My real question is, do the 26 inch MT drag radials hook good or will they hook good enough for my car with the 4k stall 3.73 gears and the RapTR cam (236/242)? I don't want to go with the 28" tall tire and lower the gear if I can hook on the 26" ones.

Whats your car run in the 1/4 now...I know a guy who runs 26 MT 373 gear hooks hard every time was running 411 gear and hooked hard with that gear also and he has a 4500 stall and a mild cam runs 11.66 to 11.80 dep on temp
