What's goin on. Just bought an 02 black WS6 with a t56 about a week ago. Needed an oil pump and am currently putting one in now, hopefully will be running by tomorrow or tonight:burn:. I also own a Dakota RT, which i am now selling, that has heads/cam, rims, lowered, etc, so I am not new to forums. I've always loved t/a's and ws6's and finally jumped on one when the truck got to be too much. Plans are simple bolt ons, rims, and lowering it for now until I'm out of college. Then the real mods begin. Anyway, look forward to talking to you guys.

honestly I have heard good and bad about them as well. Ive seen a few bads from them in the past too. I know no one is perfect but some of the things i've seen gone wrong have been pretty bad.

Just remember not everything you hear is always exactly how it happened. I've heard horror stories from people and yet have seen first hand what actually happened and how they twist it around. Like this one guy who after getting a cam and tune installed went and filled his tank with regular gas repeatedly. Then when his motor started knocking he blames the shop.

Z28SteveA4
04-24-2012, 10:07 PM
i do agree with your statement but when tune time installs a cam and is suppose to tune a car correctly and they dont and the owner of the car comes back and the owner of the business didnt have time for his own screw up, then thats not good business in my opinion. None of it was the owners fault. It was all in the tune which had to be corrected by another shop in nj. Im done hijacking the thread sorry jstrag

May 17-20, and turnout is in the thousands. Check it out on Youtube. This'll be my second year, and it's awesome.

Every state of tune, every year. You'll see a stock 64 Mustang next to a c6z, next to an 8 second 69 Camaro with a baby seat.

Are you sure the bad stuff wasnt about TTP? Matt at Tune Time did an excellent job tuning my car and my friends cars, where as the guys at TTP (owner was also named Matt) blew up my LS1.

I will only go to Tune Time Performance now, even though it takes a couple hours for me to get there.

You think he'll give me any sort of discount at ecs as I had already a tune from ttp and never got to take advantage of the cheaper retune

If you bring your car to ECS Matt from Tube Time will not be the one tuning it. If you want him to do the tuning I suggest calling him up at Tune Time.

have you ever been to his shop or seen what his employees have built? no, they arent cheap but they do great work and he doesnt dick me around and does his best to get stuff PERFECT. it might take awhile but those guys bust their asses.

theres a reason why other shops are out of business and people are going to tune time now. find out why.

"No experience with Tune time" would mean no I haven't, what I do know there is more then a few local shops that do very good work also that charge far below what this guys does.
