Cool Powder Coated CME Tip

I went way outside the box here and decided to install a CME on my SS but have the CME tip Black Powder Coated. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Even the inside was coated!

It gets installed bright and early Saturday morning.

Hmmm... I dont know. I love the CME, but I also love bling. I personally would have had those things polished or chromed.

Post pics when you get them on the car

When I had the CME tips, I painted the inside and outside black and polished the outter "faces." Somewhat similar.

BrostalSS,
Did you add that additional rear support brace to the tips, or did SLP start adding that in with the latest version of the CME tips?

The additional brace was put on by a local welder. I had heard of the support brace cracking so I didn't want to take any chances of it snapping after I got it coated.
