Default 4l60e 2-3 flaring

I've noticed some flaring between 2 and 3 at WOT. It doesn't happen during normal driving. Is there anything I should try or should I just go ahead and plan on having it rebuilt? it was rebuilt a little over a year ago before it was put into my regal along with a 5.3. I've heard things like maybe a bad computer, sicking solenoid, dirty MAF, and bad manual lever position sensor? Should I even look into any of those as a possibility?

I've considered a 4l80 swap but would much rather stick with the 60 if it can be built to hold up.

Tried cleaning the MAF, but no change.

if it's ready to go south on u, the flare will turn to neutral and u will know soon enough. There are a number of things that can be done to help the 3-4 pack survive...I do them all. A new product is almost ready to be put into my hands by the end of the month, the sonnax smart-shell input drum. No more snap ring and plenty more clutches plus the ability to run stupid line pressure and not blow the snapring out of the input drum....

I'm looking at performabuilt now, no core charge and layaway are very appealing to me. The level 1 should fit my needs.
