Default Making my own Gauge Bezel. Dimensions needed.

I have decided to make a custom gauge pod for my car. Question is, how big should I drill the holes in the bezel for a 2 1/16” (52mm) gauge? I wasn’t sure if that number refered to the size of the face of the gauge or the OD of the cylinder part of the gauge itself. Anyone with a gauge pod or a gauge that is out of the car want to measure the diameter for me? Thanks

Use a 2" hole saw bit, the gauge will fit perfect.

Diameter of the cylinder part not the face.
