new camera pics. how can I improve?
I picked up a canon powershot sx210is last week and decided to try it out. Looking for advice and ways that I can improve since this is my first camera with a manual mode. All pics were set at the max aperture at f8, iso of 80, and the shutter speed was varied. Let me know whst you guy think.

Most pics seems to be pretty stable minus the last one so I'm not sure if a tripod was used. I would first say try and shoot at a different time of day, that direct sunlight/glare is killing the first one. The fourth looks good IMO just could use some messing around in adobe.

that's the next thing on the list, followed by window tint and then buffing the paint. Once that's finished i'm going to try to take some better pics. I need to find a good place to take some pics as well

Have any of you used a polarizing filter on your canon sx210is or can I even put a polarizing filter on this camera? I saw some adapters on amazon, but not sure if this is the best option or not. Does lensmate offer an adapter for the sx210is? Also which filter should I go with?
this is the adapter I found?

Pictures aren't "horrible" but they deff don't look in focus. Point and Shoots aren't the greatest if you are looking for good images, they are mainly meant to be convenient and fast. So if the sun starts to go down you can almost forget about getting a decent shot.
First picture is your best, you managed to get decent lighting and the subject is clean. However one thing to avoid is trying to be artistic, these "extreme" angles don't translate to good pictures. They hurt peoples heads when looking at them specially on forums. Try keeping the sun behind you and keep the camera even with the horizon level. Also another thing if you are going to shoot in manual mode you are better of slightly underexposing shots then over exposing. To much information is lost when you over expose and atleast if it's under it's easier to bring back to life with some editing.
