Default Cam Recommendations Needed

Hi guys, I just recently purchased a Midwest 3700 TC with a 2.5 str. I'm looking for suggestions on a good cam to run with this TC and stock 2.73's. I figure I can get away with the original rear for this summer if I only put a healthy cam and TC in the car and stay away from DR's for now. I'm looking for a cam that will give me the most HP and torque possible with a good dyno tune. However, I'm not looking to get as 'lift happy' as the T-REX (remember, only 3700 stall). I just don't have the money this summer to afford a new rear w/ a head and cam package, add to that a tranny rebuild. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

The Lunati 222* 228* @.050 .534" .544" 114 LSA $368.00 shipped from Lunati. LS6 valve springs. Not too radical, good idle and makes good HP and TQ.

I'm interested in the mods too. Your numbers sound like the kind I'm looking for. I'll have to try the cam. Thanks for the recommendation.
