Generation III External Engine - ATI Super Damper hub...

Does the ATI Super Damper hub need any polishing (where the oil seal rides on) before installing...?


It's finished in black oxide, it's kinda smooth, but I thought it had to be much more smoother/polished for the seal to ride on.

no it shouldnt, i just had mine apart and thats how it was. Like a smooth anodized finish right?

Stuck mine on the way it came out of the box, no problems here.

should be fine, i stuck mine on right outta the box... although i'm biased.. my motor hasn't run yet, lol.
