I am nothing more than an armchair mechanic, atleast I am honest about it:hail:

Once I get one, how easy is it to find a people who will work on LS1 mods? I want to learn, but I also don't want to buy mods and then screw everything up so I figure it's safer in a mechanics hands.

Also, can you list pros and cons?

Excuse my newness, for a lack of better words lol

Lots of people who work on LS motors. Being in NC, check out RPM or Mayhem Motorsports for two big ones.

NC bros

Do you have any idea what they may charge? I hear LS1s are generally cheap to work on.

I live about 2 hours away from Durham

So the closer it is to Charlotte, the easier that would be on me.

Tick is in Mooresville but they're moving to Mt. Airy in May. Tick and RPM are the two biggest LSx shops in NC
