Default What typhoon?

Have to throw a big shout out to Andrew at Complete Street Performance.
A few weeks ago I have him tune my trans am, and it put down some relatively decent numbers for my setup, but we had a 02 sensor go bad so the a/f was a little wacked out.
Went back last night and put down some nice numbers! Gained 17hp and 14tq off of my previous tune AFTER I swapped out my 96mm typhoon and 102mm tb back to a LS6 intake and 85mm tb! We were both kind of shocked at the results as we thought we would be around the same if not a little less power.
Morale of the story is Andrew is a great tuner and overall good guy, and Typhoon intakes are garbage.
And its time for some heads.

Final result put down 390/361.

Setup:
Ls1 forged pistons 10.8-1 compression
Stock 853 Heads
TF 228/232 cam
Ls6 intake
bbk 85mm throttle body
Grot 1 3/4 Lt's
3" catless y
Flowmaster catback

Andrew is a good guy. Congrats on the new numbers. Mine made 460/390 but my ls7 is slipping and the intake is leaking. Any word on the window decals for oc?

460/390? Those are damn nice numbers.
The decals are coming together now, we actually found out that the font we used for the decals was what was messing up the cuts. New font, some thicker vinyl, and we're back on track. Saturday morning we'll be making the final cuts and preparing for shipping.

Let me know how to grab one from ya. I'm kinda disappointed with my numbers but it needs a clutch and intake so there is room for improvement. I'll have Andrew retune it and see where it ends up. Congrats again on the new power. I'm surprised by the loss with the typhoon

I was surprised as well, but it was a very considerable loss. And its not like its a stock car, so if the typhoon flows as well as they claim I should have been at least 10hp over the ls6.
Now I just need some bigger injectors.

And will do man! What part of lancaster are you in? I might be able to meet up with you sometime next week when i go to get it retuned for the bigger injectors.

Yeah, Mind you my stockers are only 26lbers, but they max out at 5,500rpm, I found it pretty crazy but I picked up some 36lb injectors tonight so I'll be golden for OC.
