Default Stronger ignition for E85?

I have been running E85 for a while with 11.7 scr/9.3 dcr, but on stock ignition. Would switching to a stronger ignition be beneficial, even if just an MSD coil and wires, or should I step up to an ignition box too?

HP per dollar would be very damn low. I would spend the money elsewhere

I would stick with the stock ignition. I've been on it for 2 years. I don't think there are any measurable gains with a better ignition on it.

Ok, so since I'm about to do a tune up anyway, just a set of MSD wires and new plugs should be good enough then?

Yep, msd wires some NGK 6's should be could. A lot of people are having great luck with the Jegs brand plug wires and seem to be testing out better then the MSD wires. I would stick with a stock coil as well.

I burnt two sets of 8.5's before I bought fiberglass boots, haven't had an issue since.

I would use FireCore 5 0 wires instead of the MSD junk
