Stereo & Electronics - Double Din install..what to cut 2002 TA

Firstly, 2002 TA with the stock monsoon system.

So I ordered a double din bezel from 6LE, it's not expected to get here for another 2-3 weeks though.

What do I need to cut to make the double din fit? I was thinking I would remove the bottom tray to provide room then mount it to the sides like the stock raido. When the bezel shows up I can reposition it accordingly.

Thoughts?

I don't know about the exact position needed to fit the 6LE bezel, but here is how I installed a double-din in my 2001 Formula:
