The cam that you have listed is nice for what your doing. If you go to much bigger your going to be reving it higher than you want to. I'd stick with what you have.

what rear gear ratio ?how much power do you want to make, the ported heads help alot.maybe a TSP torquer 3,or look at a street sweeper .I like the newer lobe designs of the EPS cams.

What's the ICL of your 224/231 114lsa, and are you looking for lower power band or about the same, also does it matter if the cam sound is more noticeable to you?
What about lift, how much are you willing to go with?

the cam card doesnt say anything about icl,so i guess it is ground straight up.
is it safe to rev the engine to 6300rpm?
iam looking for something little bit bigger, around .600 lift.
would a lower lsa like 112,make the power kick in earlier?

Does it say any where about a Intake center line?
I would say yes to 6500rpm or lower.
Yes, and I'd go with a lower lsa, 111 or 112.
Is that .600" or lower, or maybe up to .613" ?

there is nothing about intake centerline on the cam card.
.613 lift is ok
what does it cost to have someone spec a custom cam?

Okay, just wanted to be sure. You can send PREDATOR -Z email or PM him (he doesn't charge anything), or contact Patrick G email or pm him (charges $25)
FYI, be truthful and tell them what you want/ don't want, and your goals with your cam choice.

I have a 3:90 gear ratio and yes i would like the loapy sound but i dont want to big of an LSA cause I still want the car to be drivable with minimal cam surge I have the stock ls6 intake and I hear that gives our around 6400rpm so maybe a cam the peaks its power before that? I also hear stock ls1 rod bolts dont like to be pushed past 7

Take a look at the Futral F12-112 (230/230 112lsa). The lift is only .595" so it's nothing radical lift wise. This is as a big as I'd recommend going without really pushing the power band up much at all. This cam will be easily heard with having 6* valve overlap, compared to your current -1* valve overlap, but it's still far from being anything excessive.
Yeah, you could go smaller but you might not notice a $400 improvement in performance.

Just go on the dyno section. Look at all the results with the PRC 5.3 heads. I would do all bolt ons and the TSP Torquer 2 232/234. Good all around size.
