Jeep GC Steering Gearboxes

Jeep GC Steering Gearboxes
I've been following a few posts about Jeep Grand Cherokee steering gearboxes being swapped in 70's A Body cars. I have a '72 Cutlass that I'm going to swap an LS1 from a 2000 Corvette. I picked up a Jeep gearbox the other day to also install during the swap. A few posts said that the GATES Part # 363180 hose will work for the high pressure side from the Jeep box to the Corvette Pump. And that the Edelmann Part # 80405 hose will work for the return line. Is there any power steering pressure restrictors also needed for these hoses and gearbox to work with the LS pump? I saw a company called Lee Power Steering has a pressure and return seat needed to use the original hoses. Is this what I need to get also? Thanks

fittings
If you do not find the exact fit premade, go to the hydraulic shop near you, they can tell you where to get the fittings if they do not have them. Last two I had made were $30, and were made to fit My application, this is sometimes a plus for whatever clearence issues you may have...

So for the swap it's more that the fitting needs to be right and not so much the hose has to be from a certain vehicle, it just has to fit and does not interfere with anything? I noticed my high pressure hose on my LS1 looks similar to the Jeep hose but the bends are different. So I just need to find one that fits without getting in the way.
