Tonight i was out grabbing something to eat with my buddy around midnight and we got next to a new S4. He didn't bite at first but all of a sudden he took of. I followed him for awhile and got next to him and we talked and decided to pull over. He said he had a spot to go for some runs a couple miles away. We went from a dig first, and i spun hard but he took off and i never caught him. I was surprised. Thats when he told me it was AWD with launch control so he would make it fair and give me a roll. My friend recorded it with his cell phone sorry for the quality. We went from about 25. After the race we talked and he told me it made 345whp, he said all he had was tune. Not sure if that adds up or not.

Could be possible but more likely had a few mods to it. They are supercharged so depending on the tune, possibly raised boost? otherwise, 345rwhp from the S4 wouldn't make sense, since the engine makes about 330hp stock at crank. We're talking something like 70 horsepower on a tune...

Yeah thats what i was thinking but the guy did mention that they were underrated from the factory. Im pretty sure they make around 300whp stock.

The car could be just chipped, apr motorsports has the chip for a new s4 that on 100oct the car will make 385 at the wheels.....on 93oct itll make like 362. So if the guy said he had 345whp with just a tune its probably on the 91 oct file.

No I have 3.73s. But yeah I was definitely surprised. He ended up being a real cool guy and invited me to a couple car meets so i can probably find out more.

Good runs. I tried getting an R8 to run me about 3 weeks ago. He wouldn't bite.

HAd two Datson's at track last night. One with a LS1 stuff in it running low 12's high 11's. Said he was still tweaking tune and stuff. Other ran like 13's. They belonged to same guy.

S4's r underated from the factory. they easily put down over 300AWHP and like said APR tune easily gives it 40+whp and if its pullied even more. think APR tune and pully puts it to 380ish whp, no supporting mods. 380 whp on AWD nice flat tq curve the car gets up and goes. they are sweet cars for sure.

Damn I was surprised by the outcome. I thought these cars were dogs. Guess I better watch my back lol.
