Cool 6LE CME Install

Dropped of my car at my buddies body shop to have my 6le cme installed.
They suggested molding it in, so I was all over the idea.
The valance fit very well, I am very pleased with the product 6le put out.

Mock up:

Glued on:

Little grinding, looking a bit ugly at the moment :

starting the molding process:

Alittle primer:

As she sits as of yeterday:

More pics to follow as the work continues.
Last pic is of the friends CTS-V:

although i'm sure your friends painting and blending abilities are top notch....y not just respray the whole bumper to avoid the possibility of the colors being off? just a question though, the blended is definitely the way to go

I'm pretty sure he only has it masked off like that for the primer only, at least i hope!

To the op, its looking good! Any idea how exactly is this done? What type of glue etc...??

Makes me want to get my DE valence blended. But the shop I talked to wasn't too keen on trying to blend my fiberglass valence with the urethane plastic bumper. The materials are too dissimilar, one flexes more than the other, so he's concerned about it cracking later.

Too bad 6LE didn't have the plastic DE valences available when I got mine! Oh well, it'll still look good.
