Since you already have ls6 heads, I would look into some aftermarket heads like AFR's or Trickflows.

The Trex wasn't really designed for LS3 heads. It will make power but it will make better power with a cam designed for rectangular port heads. Check into EPS cams. Geoff is the shop owner and he was co-owner of Thunder Racing and he is the guy who devolped the Trex when he was at Thunder. He just recommended a cam for bmw5388 on here that is 230/242 for his 370.

Well you fall in the same boat then as far as heads since you don't want to change the cam. I would look into some TFS 215's

Get the 215's if you don't plan on upgrading for quite a while. The 225's might make your 370 a little lazy on the bottom end since you have a 6 speed. if you plan on going bigger later get the 225

I don't see how. That head is for a 4 inch or larger bore. You still have an LS1 right?

AFR 205's or Trickflow 215's would be your best bet for a stock cube ls1. The only other thing I might try is a set of Advanced Induction LS6 heads. Their porting program has produced some bad *** results from a stock casting head.
