Default Bolting on PRC 215s, Couple Questions :)

Well I've been wanting to change the head gaskets on my GTO for a little while now over to the LS9 gaskets. Last year my buddy bought a set of PRC 215s for his new turbo project, and he's not going to run them this season and he wants me to run them. So I'm going to oblige of course

So my GTO is a 370 with a 7875 and has run a best of 145 in the 1/4. On my buddy's dyno it makes 706rwhp through the 4L80e unlocked. I can't run at the track anymore, so all comparisons will be from the same dyno. Will be interesting to see what we pick up.

I'm currently running bone stock 317s, 72cc chambers. The PRCs are fully ported and are 62cc chambers. I'm thinking we can probably pick up 100rwhp or more, especially considering with the thicker deck and better gaskets, I should be able to run more boost as well.

Now onto the questions. According to PRC, I can run stock rockers. Can anyone verify this?

Also, does anyone know if my pushrod length will change? I know I can check for length but I'd like to get all the parts in house. I'm only running an LS6 cam and moly 7.4" rods. I don't know if the deck to rocker height is different from stock.

Anything else I'm missing for the swap? I don't believe so. This should be interesting. Oh, fuel is E85 so no worries on the 62cc chambers...

Yes, stock rockers work with the PRCs. As for pushrods, only way to tell for sure is to measure. But to give you an idea (this is purely an example) on a similar setup with same heads, they ran 7.375"s.

Wow 100hp is alot for just heads. Are you going to check bp on the dyno this time?

I don't think 100rwhp would be out of the question at all. Like I said, it'll allow me to run more boost as well.

I do think they'll gain a solid 50rwhp at the same boost level though. Bigger head and valves, tighter chambers, ported.

I'd like to monitor back pressure, but no promises, haha.

It would be a guess on push rods. You will have to measure. On the subject of the power gain potential I believe you could see 100hp easy. N/A it would pick up 75. Good luck and post results.

I'll be sure to post dyno results. I'm hoping for 75rwhp at the same boost and maybe 200rwhp with a bit more boost. I'd love to see 900rwhp through this giant trans unlocked I don't know if this turbo will do it though.
