My 20 year old daughter said she was born to drive and drive fast. In order to prove it she insisted that I let her drive at the drags yesterdsay. I have a NA 2010 Camaro SS that is cammed, heads, LT's etc and was trying unsucessfully all day to run below a 13. My best was a 13.005. So I decided to let her have a go. What do you think she does? First ever try at racing? She runs a 12.7 at 111 mph! I about sh** myself. She looked so good coming off the line and just ran like a pro. Here's the video - She is in the silver car. Sorry I didn't get the times on the boards I was too busy jumping around. I can attach her slip later. Congrats Maranda!!
PS- she raced a 2012 with a Maggie at 650RWHP and only loses by .383 of a second! :)

That's pretty awesome/funny that she out drove you lol!
Something isn't adding up though, I'm hoping your on street tires? I would think the car would be running quite a bit faster for the mods.

Yes, street/stock tires a DA of 4770'. I'm pretty sure it's a high 11's car with the right gear/conditions. The maggie SS she raced should be a high 10's car. Traction was a big issue. Sort of cold that day too.

Gotcha, well the DA and tires explain it then :)

Did she launch better than you? I dont think .3 seconds is coming down to the weight of the driver.
Congrats to your daughter for the 12 second 1/4, and nice job raising her. Now get some sticky tires and run an 11.
