Stereo & Electronics - Install done! Double Stealth Boxes (Updated bezel pics)

Finally finished my install today got everything from Dennis at DoubleDMods on Friday and went to town. Ran all new wiring and had to build a stealth box for the passenger side but all in all went pretty good. The Hybrid Audio speakers are crystal clear and the two JL-10W3 subs hit really hard, very happy with the sound. Everything is done exept installing the custom double din bezel when it gets here, I just cut my stock one for now.

I'm doing the same thing, but a different overall setup. Dual 10's in stealths and an amp rack. Got a mix up with the amps and the last one should be here this week. And I gotta order the HU soon too. How long ago did you order the DD bezel?

Ordered it Wednesday with my other stuff, Dennis said it would be 3 to 4 weeks

Thanks guys! I spent about 2 hours last night dialing in the amp and man does this setup sound good. I'm very happy with it. While I was building the passenger side stealth box I had just the drivers side sub hooked up and I thought it sounded really good, but when I hooked both subs up in the back I couldn't believe the difference. I've had quite a few systems and this setup hits really hard and clean and the clarity out of the front speakers is unbelievable. Setup is:

May I ask how much everything ran you?

Just under $1900 and that includes custom double din bezel,amp wiring kit, long RCA cables and all new speaker wire.

They are factory in the new TA's, but I'm sure you could find some at a junk yard.

How bad does the passenger side rear trunk panel rattle now cause mine comes loose with the subs i have there and my panel isnt cut to fit the box....

Mine doesn't rattle. I put foam cushion underneath where the screws hold it down and velcroed the front to the top of the sub box. Did this to both sides, keeps the rattles down and helps keep the sub boxes in place.

there is not really any good sub options that will fit into the box with the design.
A good 10 to me is much better than a 12 anyday

Oh ok. I have 2 12's in a box already and didnt want to spend money on new subs since mine are more than enough..

we are sending the prototype to Atrend in Chicago this coming week. It will then be sent to China for production. Not a fast way of getting things done but to get you a real nice quality box for a 69.99 shipped price this is how we have to do it.

I tell ya guys, I just can not get over the sound of this system. I've run my battery dead 3 times just listening to it and doing some more fine adjustments. It sounds good on all types of music which is what I like because my iPod consist of everything you can think of, I listen to everything! When you play Rage Against the Machine and the drums and bass come in, it hits so hard I swear my back windows going to come out. And then switch over to some rap and it sounds amazing hits plenty hard and vibrates the crap out of everything. And then put on some instumental or acoustical songs and it sounds like your at the concert. I just can't get over the clarity of this system, no distortion just pure clean sound at any volume. I've heard a lot of systems that guys have put in and yeah some might have bass that will blow you out of your seat but other than that sound like shit. This is exactly what I was wanting, loud,clear,hits hard, and no distortion. Love It!!

That would be pretty hard to do. A $1000 doesn't get you very far with high end stereo equipment. You could call Dennis at DoubleDMods and tell him your budget and I'm sure he could come up with system for you, it just won't be like mine for a $1000 plus you said you might need someone to install it for you that's not cheap either.

It sounds better with the tweeters at more of an ear level than down at your feet.
