General LSX Automobile Discussion - Open headers?

Im doing a heads and cam swap and im wanting to start the car up with open headers, would this cause any problems with the upstream/ primary 02 sensors? There is about 5 inches between the sensor and were the exhaust ends off the headers. Thanks in advance.

Nope did it with mine with open headers and other zero problems.

agreed...shouldnt be a problem. also should sound like a monster

I personally don't find it worth the risk. It's loud as hell and really not worth the trouble if you ask me. To each their own I suppose.
