Default LS6 Manifolds

I want to replace the LS1 manifold with the LS6. I see there are 2 different part numbers 88894339 and 12573572. Are there any differences between the two? Also I will be installing 243 heads some time this winter.

i wouldnt imagine the internal of the intake be any different. maybe something cosmetically. from what i gather, the 888 intake is the one from the 01-02 f-body, and the 125 intake is from the z06 or ls2 motors. im a noob, but im fairly confident.

I would just go ahead and find a used one that's for sale in our classifieds section. No need to buy a brand new one.

There is no difference between the two. Just make sure the bottom is flat, the bottom on the LS1 intakes are not.

The one that came off my '03 Corvette engine was #12561182. The bottom was flat but had stiffening ribs, is this what you consider the LS-6 bottom?

Thanks! I just got another one (12573572) off a '99 F-body engine that had been upgraded with the LS-6 manifold and (#243) heads...
