Does this look like a good deal to you guys? It says it fits 12's I think, http://www.ebay.com/itm/PONTIAC-FIREBIRD-TRANS-AM-1993-02-12-UF-GREY-SUBWOOFER-SUB-ENCLOSURE-BOX-/310395807250#vi-content

Personal opinion. Never buy anything off ebay unless you know exactly what it is. I've bought some stuff off there appearing to be quality product, sweet price, etc... Come to find out it's very cheaply made. That's just my personal experience.

Go with the stealth from DoubleDMods. It's a great setup and looks real good. But if you only got $250 that's not gonna go very far bud

stealth is less than 250 and I meant just for the sub and box sorry let me clear that up lol. How fast does it ship and how hard does it hit? I dont want something that I cant hear the treble.

I got the JL preloaded stealth. I think it was $260 (box and sub). I talked to him personally on the phone late on a saturday right before he left for the rest of the weekend, he got everything together on monday sent me an invoice and called fedex for shipping, fedex picked it up tuesday, I had it thursday. It was quick.

I'm surprised by the JL. I know they're quality subs (as all of my friends have them, but 12's) That little 10 sounds incredible if you tune it right, you'll make it bump no matter what, but it's all about making it bump right. I had 2 Kicker Comp CVR 12's before which were incredible, but the look of the stealth box is just too good.

If you talk to Dennis he'll also reccommend the ARC. I don't know much about them personally. But it is cheaper than the JL. Just give him a call and he'll work out a deal with you

He does great customer service! I had to send something back to him. I shot him an email around 930 and had a reply before 10. Next morning at 830 he set me up with a return label. He's also working on a stealth passenger side which will be a sweet setup when that gets finished if you choose to go with that later on down the road.

Sorry if I got to rambling. I'll just always put a good word out for someone who treats me right.

LLike mine is a mtx 5500 thunder 12" with a depth of 7.5 and the op has a 12 also

thats the problem with the box posted by the OP a sub with a 7.5 mounting depth wouldn't fit that box since its TOTAL height is only 8 inches. that box reduces your choices of subs because of its shallowness.

Also that ebay box is 5/8" MDF not 3/4" like it should be IMO

Dennis you told me that a 12" would not fit in the boxes yall got
that is correct
it will not fit

and like mentioned
using a 12 inch sub in alot of boxes reduces options.
You much better going with a nicer 10.

10= better sound quality
12= louder

If you want a dual 12" box I have those as well for 45.00 plus the ride.

I love my subs i have 2 10'' Alpine Type-E subs with a mono Apline 450w amp
1. not too pricey ($65 per sub at Bestbuy i believe)
2.Last forever, still have mine kicking today after 6 years
3. and dont need a huge box that takes up your cargo/T-Tops area
