Default MCR SDR Track Day Vids & Photos For Those Following My Mod Threads

The first run of the day and my best run of the day. The DA was horrible at 2,276 feet around noon and 2,638 feet around 5:00 ... no wonder the first run of the day was my best ...

R/T = .126
60' = 1.795
1/8 = 7.614 at 93.29 MPH
1/4 = 11.724 at 121.34 MPH ...

My new line lock and 2-Step worked perfectly ...

I finally had a chance to work on my new rear coil overs ... a few adjustments dropped my 60's into the 1.6x's today. That is progress ... now for a set of fronts ... and maybe 1.5x's ... !

Obviouly there is a ways to go to get to my 6's/10's goals.

For those that are not aware and want to know, "MCE" is Musclecar-Evolution.com and "SDR" is Silver Doallar Raceway (Reynolds, GA).

.... GoPro vids are in the next post!

I just checked their Facebook site and they posted this an hour ago ...

"The track will NOT be opening this weekend, May 4th. We are hoping to have everything ready to open the next Friday. We will let everyone know as soon as it is offical."

The track he did 103 at traps high. Its about 4 to 5 mph high. That track very old track. The timing system is very out dated.

Slamed01Ramair ... "Travis" is correct ... the 103 mph trap speed was at a track that typically traps high. In fact, that particular day I had one run where I trapped 106 mph. I have read that the track is not a true 660', but rather 630' and the speed and time are "corrected" for the distance. I am not sure how true that is so take it with a grain of salt.

It was ok ... I am not sure it is worth the additional hour drive for me over Paradise. I only got 4 runs in, but we got there at 8:00. They took a "5 minute break to turn on the track lights" that was more like 45 minutes.

At a DA of 2684, my best run was ...

RT = .540 (.500 perfect tree)
60' = 1.668
ET = 7.438
MPH = 92.38

The car is still on the stock front DeCarbons with front sway bar still in place with no additional rear adjustment (still at last adjustment of 4-ext/5-comp). I did bump the 2-Step up to 4,500 for this test & tune.

I will post a thread with the GoPro videos as soon as I finish editing them. My wife also got a few shots with her new HD Canon Camcorder.

Next outing will be Steele, Alabama for their Sunday test & tune.
