Ported 90 vs a ported 102 on a 408
#3
A well executed ported 102 could add 10-12 IMO....more if your 90mm FAST wasn't completely optimized, and more potentially if you have a really good set of heads which places an even higher demand on the intake. Lots of variable.....at the end of the day its just a matter of how good will you look, but IMO, there will be enough gains seen to justify the swap if the 102 intake is properly prepped and optimized.
I'm including the move to a larger 102 TB as part of the upgrade btw (a 90mm TB on the 102 will handicap your results some).....at the end of the day after selling your ported 90/90 set-up, you would be left with a reasonable increase in performance from the standpoint of power gained per dollar spent.
We are always looking for more power.....I would go for it....not to mention it should be easy to unload your current manifold/TB combo.....guys are looking for that sort of thing all the time.

Even if it doesn't give you a good gain, it would be one less bottle neck when you upgrade for more power later...either way it won't hurt......can't really over tb like you can over carb
