No real Army in San Antonio?

Nope no real army just pog's, nasty girls, and weekend warriors....

But there are a few exceptions to some wounded warriors but other then thence ther is no real army....
Fort Sam Houston isn't the real army. It's a fucked up excuse for a military installation where kids Who think they joined the army pretend to play soldier but follow in all reality know jack and shit about the real army.

Sadly they are in for a rude awakening when they move to a new duty station.

Don't be so judgemental on the non army. Find a better duty station I said I was here for training what better place to train a medic then Fort Sam, hence its MEDCOM (Army Medical Command Headquarters)

Not everyone's an Airborne Ranger lol. But yes IMO its way to chill. They could use some line unit discipline.

My friend from basic stepped on an IED, got stationed there at MEPS in the wounded Warrior program and hates it.

Gee, I don't know, maybe because someone insinuated that you were at one point and I was curious and wanted to ask you some questions about it if so, but if you'd rather be mildly defensive about my question then go ahead. Regardless, respect for serving our country :usa:, I was not eligible to join the Marines when I tried with a friend towards the end of high school. For the record, my boss was an Airborne Ranger and I was also curious to know if maybe you guys had crossed paths at one point or another.

I am willing to bet that medic scored higher on his ASVAB which led to better job selections. Sounds like you have the brain washed mentality of most infantry soldiers.

BTW, I am prior service :usa:

umm i hate to tell you the infantry has some of the highest asvab scores in the army.
all you need is a 110 gt score and you can do any job in the army.

If by brain washed you mean proud as hell to be infantry then sure i am. i have respect for combat medics and other combat MOS. not say that i dotn respect other jobs in the service. but hate hearing not combat jobs cry about how hard they have it when they dont know what hard is.

infantryman are some of the most dedicated and proud soldiers in the military. we stand out in a crowd.

See what I mean. Kiling people gets a "lol". Thats not something that should be funny at all. Many soldiers come back with mental issues beacuse they "have" to kill and blow things up. I suppose thats funny also...

Typical 11 series...

Yes Eric the real army fort Sam is not how the army is. Fort San is more like an air force base in how lax the rules and everything are. So yes it's not the real army. 98% of for Sam (not the ww's) that are stationed there are pog cry babies that wouldn't know what to do with out Ac or a soft chair to sit their asses in.

Out of curiosity whats your mos? And have u been stationed any where else other then fort sam?

Here we go with pot shots to the other services, really? We're all fighting for the same side.

I seriously question your definition of "Lax" when you reference the Air Force. You are not in the Air Force so your view is from the outside and obviously bias.

Beer is always good.

I know it doesn't mean much, but I have and easier time delivering materials to camp bullis, than any other base in town. Randolph being the toughest. Lackland, medina, ft Sam and brooks are much easier. With the exception of camp Stanley.
