my car is throwing just about every maf code. i thought my intake was leaking so i bought another one, but still throwing codes. iv also replaced intake gaskets. I think im missing a connection on my cold air intake like the opti. im gonna upload some pics.... any ideas?

Going to the Opti is just a vent tube.

Do you know if the MAF is good?
Did you check the connector for Voltage?

was good on the last engine but so i guess so, but no i wouldnt even know how to

Multimeter the connector with the key on.

The opti vent hose on your intake elbow isnt connected. If your running the car with that not plugged or hooked up, your allowing unmetered air into the intake. ALso, im not sure of this but doesnt the vent tube for the 95-97 Opti Vents pull slight vacuum?

Check your fuses. You may have blown the fuse that feeds power to the MAF, or the drivers side O2.
