Gears & Axles - Advice on what ratio for gto in rear

Do not know to much on rear ends on GTOs. I got 2004 got stock rear end right now, but I want to change gears in my rear. Right now they are 3:46. What would be a good ratio to change them to? :confused:

All depends on what you want out of the car. What do you use it for? Mods? Redline? daily driven?

daily drive, but I go to the track few times a month. I was thinking maybe 3:73?

If it's an A4 I wouldn't go over 3.73's on a daily driven car, if it's an M6, maybe 4.10's. All depends on preference.

yeah its the a4, I just find some 3.73s for it. thanks though man. Hey, were you at muncie that first day opening, the ws6 and camaro? I was parked next to you guys with the 04 gto. the purple one.

I wasn't there for opening day this year. I was last year though!

Oh ok, I saw the guy in the video on youtube page, with few other guys one camaro that says slayer performance and a ws6, thats why I asked.
